Our Story
The South Bay Junior Woman’s Club was founded in January 2011. Located in the beautiful community of South Bay in Southern California, where we enjoy pristine beaches and breathtaking sunsets over the Pacific. Our mission is to further philanthropic activities and advance civic betterment in the South Bay Communities. A majority of the support that we provide to our community is geared toward the approximately 220,000 residents of Torrance and Redondo Beach. Our community is culturally, economically, and ethnically diverse.
Our members who are liked minded and young at heart have bonded together with a motto of “Passionate Pursuit of Purpose”. We are passionate about our role in giving back to our community and are dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Our members persevered through the unprecedented State, National, and Worldwide challenges of the COVID pandemic through 2022 by continuing our commitment to successfully fundraising and providing financial support to several local non-profit organizations, and local families in need; in addition to awarding college scholarships. We are looking forward to a more prosperous, healthy, and productive 2023 as we continue our mission here in the South Bay.
